The value-semantic sphere of the personality of contemporary student as the subject of the ethnic and religious relations

The article is devoted to the investigation of value understanding system of ethnic and confessional groups of students. Social changes, causing the necessity for every member of our society to be responsible for his destiny, lead to gradual confirmation of a new value understanding system in public consciousness. Mainly it refers to young people. Acute need of youth to appeal to ethnic values, that are considered to be firmer at present, is a kind of a reaction for uncertainty. The author defines structure and content characteristics of the value sphere of a present-day student.
