Valuable characteristics of gratitude in the Kalmyk, English and Russian proverbs and aphorisms

The article deals with the valuable characteristics of the communicative event “gratitude” based on the Kalmyk, English and Russian proverbs and sayings. The comparative analysis of the revealed valuable judgements shows both the similarity and the fundamental differences of the standards of the behavior of the members of the compared linguocultures in the situation of gratitude.
