The youth's value system: approaches, techniques and objectives of the sociological analysis

The relevance of the sociological study of the youth's value dominants is obvious for both scientific and applied reasons, however, quite often the researches dealing with the subject are too abstract and theoretical, or too empirical and descriptive, or too officiously applied. The authors suggest that the best decision for the sociological analysis is a reasonable combination of the elements of all the approaches mentioned above, especially within the framework of complex cross-cultural projects, the methods and techniques of which should guarantee a kind of a compromise between purely diagnostic and mostly management aims.
