The article examines the impact of contemporary socio-economic and cultural changes on the value priorities of women in Russia and Germany. As part of a study conducted in the summer of 2023 in Darmstadt and Moscow, 50 women representing traditional social roles were surveyed to identify differences and similarities in their life values. Using Rokich's "Ranking of Life Values" methodology, the study revealed that Family and Health emerged as the most significant values for both groups, highlighting their universal importance for achieving personal happiness. At the same time, gnoseological-aesthetic values such as Beauty of nature and art, Creativity, and Knowledge were found to be less significant, indicating a shift in priorities towards practical needs. Despite the general accessibility of values such as Love and Friends, the concepts of Freedom and Self-confidence remain elusive, pointing to the influence of social and internal constraints on women's personal aspirations. The results of the study emphasize the importance of understanding cultural context in shaping life values and their significance for emotional well-being and social connection in a rapidly changing world.
