The article presents an analysis of the phenomenon of value transformations in the way of life and human thinking associated with entering a digital civilization that represents a society that has access to redundant information, information to be found, to choose and, ideally, analyze and memorize, an Internet civilization based on the newest digital technologies. The new virtual space has a vertical and horizontal social structure. Connections in a virtual space have the character of developing as human needs digital subspaces for work, recreation and entertainment, learning, solving everyday problems and most importantly - for communication. What are the perspectives of one of the actively developing segments of the virtual space associated with continuing education? How can we neutralize the value-transforming character, preserve the “living” values of human society? The authors offer two ways. The first way is connected with the inclusion of courses of value-ethical orientation in the system of continuous education. The second way to overcome the value transformations of continuous education in digital space is related to the technology of building the Internet distance learning courses themselves.
