The article deals with the problem of achieving high efficiency in professional training of future teachers. The urgency of the issue is obvious. The purpose of the article is a theoretical generalization of the research results, which indicated the efficiency of the use of physical culture in the process of formation and development of professional and applied abilities among students of the pedagogical field. Based on the main provisions of the conceptual models of pedagogical activity and pedagogical education, human abilities, value-oriented exploration of the reality and the use of physical education to improve the effectiveness of educational process, the author analyzes and conceptualizes theoretical, methodological and empirical premises pertaining to the holistic vision of the value aspect in the formation of professional and applied abilities of future employees by means of physical culture.
