The article touches on the legal basis of functioning of juvenile justice system in Russia at present and practical implementation of the concepts of juvenile justice system at the temporary custody centre for juvenile offenders of the MIA General Administration office in Perm region. The researchers present the experience concerning the implementation of the programme of repositioning temporary custody centre into the institution of juvenile justice system.
