Church and educational activities of Innokenty Veniaminov in Alaska in the 19th century

The article is devoted to the analysis of Church and educational activities of Innokenty Veniaminov in Alaska in the 19th century. In the article, the author sets the following tasks, what made Innokenty Veniaminov famous while in Alaska, and studies the role of the priest Innokenty Veniaminov in the adoption of Christianity in Alaska. As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that thanks to Saint innocent Veniaminov, the population of Alaska became literate and Alaska adopted Orthodoxy.
