Chekhov in the prose by Sergei Dovlatov

The author gives a review of studies concerning the connections between the works by S.Dovlatov and by A.P.Сhekhov. Connections between aesthetic ideas by Dovlatov and Tchekhov and their poetics are followed. The most important principle of the artistry, characteristic for Tchekhov and for Dovlatov, - the principle of unbiased narration is examined.
