This article analyzes the human factor in the system of flight safety measures. A brief description of the structure of the aviation transport system is given. Attention is paid to the aspects of the human factor in air traffic control, maintenance, and management and organizational activities. The complexity and versatility of the occurrence of the human factor in the functioning of the aviation transport system, the importance of its consideration for flight safety is noted.
