The human capital of modern Russia: features of development and employment

The article considers the main mechanisms of formation and employment of the human capital in the modern Russian society, which could allow Russia to hold a leading position in the global economic space. The main attention is paid to the contradictions of institutional and organizational nature, such as underemployment of human capital, resulting in its depreciation and degradation. The author comes to the conclusion that the human capital characteristic has to change from the division of labour into intellectual and physical to the differentiation of common and creative labour with high mobility and creativity of a carrier.
