Human potential: structure and system of indicators

The article presents the results of the analysis of the category of human potential. The essence of this concept and its difference from the concept of quality of life have been investigated. An attempt is made to substantiate the primary role of human potential in the development of society. The structure of human potential is analyzed, the main aspects of human potential are highlighted: physical, intellectual, cultural and spiritual. It is proposed to divide the category of human potential into its various forms in accordance with the spheres of its implementation: human potential for health, building a family, culture and art, science, education, social health, environmental behavior, and civic engagement. For all the selected aspects and forms of human potential, a system of indicators has been selected that reflects the level of regional human development in Russia.
