The article examines the peculiarities of reflecting environmental issues in science art projects. The aim of the study is to identify the main directions in which environmental issues are developing in modern science art. The objectives are to trace the historical evolution of science art in the context of the stated topic; to identify representative examples of science art thematically related to ecology; and to identify the main trends. The empirical basis of the research was provided by archival and current materials from the Ars Electronica festival in 2023–2025, as well as the websites of leading science artists. The authors of the article identify two vectors of the development of environmental issues in science art projects: human rivalry with nature and human-nature cooper-ation. The techniques that artists, in collaboration with scientists, technology and other companies, use to talk about the modern relationship between nature and man are highlighted. These include the visualization of invisible pro-cesses using new technologies; the modeling of interactive audience experiences; the artistic representation of the multimodal language of communication between humans and nature; the use of artificial intelligence and big data for artistic interpretation of environmental issues; and innovative developments for solving environmental problems.
