Turtles and lizards in Orenburg region reserves

The dates and places of encounters of turtles and lizards in the reserves of the Orenburg oblast are given: cluster areas "Talovskaya steppe", "Preduralskaya steppe", "Burtinskaya steppe", "Aytuarskaya steppe" and "Ashchisaiskaya steppe" of the Nature Reserve "Orenburgsky"; Nature Reserve "Shaitan-Tau". Over the past decades, the Emys orbicularis has reduced its population in the Burtinskaya Steppe area, becoming a rare species here. On the site "Aytuarskaya steppe" and in the reserve "Shaitan-Tau" the number of the Zootoca vivipara has reduced and, possibly, the species has disappeared here.
