Craniocerebral trauma in persons with central nervous system pathology

Бесплатный доступ

We analysed 113 cases of the isolated craniocerebral traumas in persons with the expressed brain atrophy of a various genesis. It is established that in persons with preexisting central nervous system pathology, free spaces of the scull cavity are enlarged up to 15 % in comparison to 6-7 % in norm. Such change of the ratio of the brain and liquor spaces as assessed by nuclear magnetic resonance and КТ is reflected in the dynamics of craniocerebral trauma. In these cases, death occurred as a result of dislocation syndrome development due to greater mobility of the brain in the scull cavity.
