The Montenegrin issue on the policy of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro. Montenegrin independence referendum

The article reveals the peculiarities of the development of Montenegro on the framework of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro as well as the priorities of Montenegrin elites in politics. The author analyzes and summarizes reasons, importance and outcomes of Montenegrin independence referendum, which was held in 2006. The article introduces with the point of view on Montenegrin referendum of the EU and NATO.
