The article discusses the temporal nature of consciousness and proves the resultant continuous nature of subjective experience. The author eliminates the contradiction between the ontological isolation of consciousness and its intentional ability to go beyond the limits. The paper develops a classification of human life based on its temporal isolation and intentional openness. The author shows the unity of human existence within the framework of its multi-layered being.
