Numerical evaluation of the effectiveness of liquid and air electrokinetic radiators. Viscous heat transfer fluid case

Бесплатный доступ

This work continues a series of model experiments using the computing package, allowing us to forecast the comparative efficiency of electrokinetic sound emitters in liquid and air environments. Previously, such a forecast was made by the authors for the condition of the presence of only viscous losses in the medium. In this work, an attempt was made to obtain the comparative efficiency of electrokinetic emitters in liquid and air environments using the computing package COMSOL Multiphysics in the presence of not only viscous but also thermal losses. As a result of the numerical experiments, an insignificant effect of taking into account thermal losses on the accuracy of calculations was revealed. This fact can significantly speed up the implementation of complex model experiments using the COMSOL Multiphysics package.
