Numerical simulation of gas flow in an overexpanded jet and a short axis-symmetric nozzle

The gas flow in an overexpanded jet and a short axis-symmetric nozzle with linear generatrix is studied. An important feature of such flows is a weak shock that is situated near the nozzle's neck in a supersonic part of it. The point of intersection between this weak shock and the nozzle's symmetry axis may be situated just after the nozzle's outlet. Interaction between a Mach stem and the weak shock is possible for some range of the outer area's pressures. This article is covered numerical study of such interaction's features during periodically changes of outer area's pressure in range of 0,8-1,5 atm. There was founded some near-periodically pulsations of wave's configuration and pressure gysteresis effect; the source of this pulsations was investigated.
