The unsteady behavior of a stratified fluid with an immersed solid inclusion in zero gravity conditions is studied numerically in the framework of average approach. The fluid and solid inclusion are in a closed cavity and subjected to high-frequency translational vibrations. It is shown that the system tends to the quasi-equilibrium state in which the fields of density gradient and pulsational velocity gradient are similar. It is found that in the presence of diffusion three different regimes of establishment of quasi-equilibrium are possible depending on the values of diffusion coefficient and vibrational parameter.
