Using transosseous osteosynthesis method the authors analyzed the treatment process in a female patient with the fractures of femoral neck and subtrochanteric femur, complicated by chronic posttraumatic osteomyelitis. It was demonstrated that the specific composition of the microflora of osteomyelitic focus was inhomogenous: anaerobic-and-aerobic association being of main importance for osteomyelitic process development took place in its central part, as for its periphery the microorganisms were revealed there which could be referred to accompanying microflora.
