Improvement of diagnostic and treatment regimens for patients with blood malignancies allowed increasing the survival rate among these patients. However, there is a tendency to increase the number of patients with a combination of coronary artery disease and blood malignancy in clinical practice. In most cases, the presence of competing coronary artery disease in oncohematologic patients complicates the treatment of the underlying disease. Cardiotoxicity of chemotherapy can be a cause of interruption or termination of anti-tumor treatment, potentially worsening overall outcomes. Until now it is not clear about percutaneous coronary interventions in patients with blood malignancy.
