Emergency state commission in the legal mechanism of involvement of war criminals (on the example of the judicial process in Krasnodar, 1943)

The status of the Extraordinary State Commission (CHC) for the establishment and investigation of the atrocities of the Nazi invaders and their accomplices and the damage caused by them during the Great Patriotic War is considered from the point of view of the legal mechanism for attracting those guilty of committing war crimes. It is noted that the materials collected by the ChGK were the basis for transferring them to the prosecutor's office for initiating criminal cases of specific individuals and subsequent bringing them to trial. The operation of such a mechanism is shown on the example of the trial in Krasnodar in July 1943. The work uses some materials from earlier works of authorship.
