A miracle in Andrei Proshkin feature film «The horde»

Film «The Horde» by Andrei Proshkin is about the historical events in Russia during the reign of Ivan II. But the main character of the screen version is Metropolitan of Moscow Aleksiy who was canonized. The miracle done by Metropolitan allowed him to get the protection certificate and build Chudov monastery on the site of Khan’s metochion, on the territory of the Kremlin. The plot concerning the miracle deals with the relationship between the Christian Metropolitan and the khan Таidula miracle.
