The article examines the significance of digital literacy and the methodology of teacher training in the context of the digitalization of education in the Kyrgyz Republic. It analyzes current problems and challenges associated with the implementation of digital technologies in the educational process, including the insufficient level of teachers' digital competence, uneven access to digital resources, and the need to rethink traditional teaching methods. The authors propose recommendations for improving the methodology of teacher preparation, developing infrastructure, and enhancing digital literacy among all participants in the educational process. The necessity of a comprehensive approach is emphasized for the successful integration of digital technologies into the education system and the preparation of specialists capable of effectively functioning in a digital society.
