Digital economy and its development in Russia

This article is devoted to the digital economy. The paper considers various stances to the interpretation of the term "digital economy", provides a list of the main technologies that characterize the digital economy, and compares the levels of the digital economy in the Russian Federation and the leading countries of the world according to the ratings of divers companies and agencies. The importance of prospects in the development of the digital economy is explained. Conclusions about the level of the digital economy in Russia are formulated and recommendations for its improvement are given.
