The digital economy in Perm region: its state and prospects of development

Today digital technologies have priority in the economic development of Russia and Perm region. The Development Strategy of the Information Society of Russian Federation for 2017-2030 was adopted on federal level and The Concept of digital economy development of Perm region in 2018- 2024 was adopted on regional level. The article reveals the importance of digitalization on a global, Russian and regional scale on the example of the Perm region. Digital technologies are already have influence with all spheres of life: business, education, healthcare, industry. Digital technologies also improve the quality of life, create new forms of socialization and communication. Significant positive changes in the region's digitalization (rise in the Digital Russia index by 19 points in one year from 35th to 16th place) made this article relevant.
