Digital culture as a factor of formation and development of the university electronic information educational environment

The article analyzes and synthesizes the derived terminology of the digitization of culture. Consideration of concepts: literacy, competence, and culture, according to the principle of nesting dolls, made it possible to identify common and different in their interpretation. The formation and development of basic terms, in the context of digitalization of the cultural and educational space, implies different levels: ICT (literacy, competence, culture), media (literacy, competence, culture), information (literacy, competence, culture), digital (literacy, competence, culture) presented by the author in the form of a terminological pyramid. The digital transformation of the educational environment is not just a change in format, but a change in the whole culture.
