Digital model of holding management

The code of the main specialty for which this work was performed is 08.00.05 (Economics and National Economy Management). The article is devoted to the study of current problems of automation and intensification of transport processes in railway transport, and, as a result, to improving the safety of passenger and cargo transport, financial results and performance indicators of JSC Russian Railways Holding. The company’s development program provides the main target parameters and strategic initiatives for the holding’s development, specified by the main production and functional areas of activity. In order to solve practical problems of digitalization, it is necessary to intensify works in JSC “Russian Railways” on development of principles in management and processes, as well as fundamental revision of management decisions to optimize and improve processes in financial and economic activities. The wider application of process tools allows to integrate parameters of key business processes into the map of strategic goals of the company and to clearly link the strategy guidelines with the KPI system and motivation of personnel. Conditions are created for implementation in the main activities and evaluation of efficiency of various areas of management actively developed in the company, including risk management, quality management, environmental management, internal control, etc. Structurally, the work consists of an introductory part; it describes the purpose, materials and methods of research, and defines methodological approaches to the issue of digitalization in the management of the holding. The final part is presented by the preliminary results obtained in this study, and conclusions and suggestions are made.
