The article discusses modern approaches to the digital transformation of metrological activities using the example of the Metrology 4.0 WEB digital platform. The Federal State Unitary Enterprise Research Center for Metrology – Rostest, which has a branch network of verification laboratories, has initiated the creation of the unified digital platform Metrology 4.0 WEB. The project is based on the principles of the industrial metaverse, where every object, method, and process has a digital twin, and data circulates in a closed loop. Its key functionality has been analyzed, including integration with the federal register of the FGIS ARSHIN, digitalization of verification methods, automation of document management, and creation of a digital archive. Special attention has been paid to the use of analytical visualization, intelligent algorithms, and handwriting recognition technology based on neural network solutions. The mechanisms for validating scripts and processing data have been presented, ensuring increased reproducibility, accuracy, and transparency metrological control. All validated scripts comply with the requirements of verification and calibration methods, as well as the requirements for software packages according to GOST R ISO/IEC 12119- 2000 and algorithms and data processing programs, which are identified as independent objects and exist separately according to MI 2174–91 and are approved for use. The article discusses tools for monitoring employee workload, generating reports, and processing requests in real-time using interactive dashboards and digital document templates. The article describes the possibilities of integrating the platform with internal information systems of enterprises, as well as tools for supporting teamwork and self-training of personnel. The role of the platform in reducing costs, accelerating verification procedures, preparing for accreditation, and strengthening customer trust is highlighted. The article concludes that comprehensive digitalization is a key factor in improving the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of metrological processes in modern conditions.
