Digital transformation of business and the role of the leader in its implementation

The economies of the world leaders have recently entered a new phase of their development - digital transformation, which, at first glance, affects mainly production and business. However, in the process of implementing digitalization measures at enterprises, it became obvious that for their successful implementation it was necessary to prepare a solid foundation in the form of a balanced-built organizational culture, where staff is open to the introduction of new technologies, clearly understands the mission and strategy, and is also able to maximize the skills and realize their proposals to life. In creating an appropriate culture at the enterprise, its leader, who is the main bearer of the organization's values, is given special importance. The authors identified the key competencies of the company's leaders that are necessary for the formation of a team that is loyal to digital transformation.
