The "digital railroad" and electronic document management

This article discussed the status and prospects of the project “Digital railroad” of JSC “Russian Railways” in the field of docu- ment management automation through the introduction of a Unified Automated System of Document Management and Electronic Waybill Automated System. To implement the “Digital Railroad” project, it is proposed to introduce the training project “Specialists for “Digital Railroad””, as well as project education at the Russian University of Transport (MIIT). There are provided principles of formation of specialists' professional competency in the field of document support of transport man- agement (including electronic document management).
