Digitalization of the urban economy to strengthen the economic security of the municipality

The article discusses the stages of formation of the concept of a "smart city", the main trends in the change in the index of digitalization of the economy ("IQ cities") of Russian cities. It has been substantiated that in the era of the digital economy and business networkization, their economic security plays a huge role in the development of individual municipalities. The elements of ensuring the economic security of the "smart city" were clarified and disclosed.
