Digitalization of state and municipal management in the Russia federation

The purpose of the study is to identify the level of development of digitalization in state and municipal governments on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as to study the main programs and activities developed by the state to increase digitalization in the country. The article discusses the basic concepts and trends in the use of digital technologies in the state and municipal sector. Based on the analysis of implemented projects for the development of digitalization in the Russian Federation, the main advantages of using modern information technologies in the country are identified. The United Nations e-government development index was studied, which determines the readiness of countries to use information technologies according to various criteria. A promising federal project "Digital Public Administration" has been identified, which is aimed at increasing the use of digital services in the state and municipal sector. Thanks to the development of digitalization in the state and municipal sector, it will be possible to reach a new level of information development in the Russian Federation, as well as improve the quality of public and municipal services provided.
