Digitalization of information support for decision-making in public administration

The paper studies the approaches to application of decision support information systems in public administration. The analysis of the information systems used allowed to identify features that make it difficult or impossible to implement effective management mechanisms in the current conditions. It is shown that a number of problems can be solved using adaptive cloud technologies. In particular, this approach allows to design information systems independent of primary data sources. The paper studies positive examples of the implementation of such systems in the public administration of Russia. The main directions of the implementation of the National Program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation” are considered. The authors show that in the field of public administration, the successful implementation of the program was jeopardized at the initial stage due to inability to attract extrabudgetary funding. This can be corrected by developing and implementing a unified public sector informatization policy, which will compensate for the lack of funding for the National Program at the expense of other budgets.
