Digitalization as a tool for increasing the publicity of state authorities

This article considers the experience of the Russian Federation and foreign states on the implementation of digital technologies in the state financial sector. Active automation of all processes related to the budgetary system of countries is carried out both to increase their publicity and accessibility to the public, and to preserve budget funds and increase the efficiency of the use of budget resources. Analysis of information systems of public administration of different countries allowed to identify the main areas in which digitalization turned out to be the most effective and necessary: as a rule, these are systems of income accounting, budget expenditures, as well as control system of state enterprises and creation of accessible and understandable system «Budget for citizens».
