Digitalization as a stage in the development of society: philosophical view

The article is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of the current state of the field of communication processes in society, as well as the level of influence of transformations in the information and communication sphere on society. The article substantiates the relationship between changes in the field of information relations and the state of society. The level of transformational dynamics in the information environment is assessed, and conclusions are drawn about the intensity of the impact of modern technologies on the state of society. The question is raised about the opportunities and social risks associated with the digitalization of social and communication processes. Theoretically, we proceed from the fact that there are problematic issues that are at the intersection of different disciplines, since they affect the cross-links between different aspects of television activity. Dealing these issues can contribute to a significant increase in knowledge about social factors of digitalization, its internal dynamics of development, and, finally, the importance of the media space itself as a factor of social development.
