Goal. The purpose of this work is to analyze and interpret the positive and negative trends associated with the current stage of development of the process of digitalization of the global services market. The results of the paper. The main axiom is that the digitalization of the global economy serves is the basis for the development of the global services market. The service sector is one of the first to respond to changes in the economic environment and emerging trends, which leads to the impact of both positive and negative factors on the development of the global economy. Transforming formats and properties (positive trends) are: the "visibility" of the service and transparency of this sector, the inseparability and non-preservation of services as the subject of the transaction, inclusiveness and personification, platformization, cost optimization. Among the key risks identified are: force majeure factors that can have a multiplicative negative effect on reducing the consumer activity of the service sector, cybercrime, monopolization and competition. Conclusions. For the effective development of IT and the digital environment, the global services market as a whole, it is necessary to take into account both positive and negative consequences, in order to further develop a common vision for ensuring the functioning of service markets, taking into account the expansion of electronic infrastructure.
