The article examines the features of digitalization of education and highlights approaches to teaching economics in the modern world. The study highlights that the main approach to the economic transformation of all industries is to solve the problem of improving and supporting educational infrastructure, paying special attention to the high quality and efficiency of educational process management. Particular attention is paid to the fact that in the context of globalization, it is becoming critically important to include educational institutions in the international information space, which emphasizes the need for digitization and exploring prospects for further modernization. In addition, digital transformation plays a major role in achieving competitive advantages for businesses. The research is aimed at analyzing the characteristics of digital evolution in the field of education with an emphasis on gaining knowledge in economic disciplines. It was concluded that the reform of the education system is one of the critically important areas. To achieve a high level of basic network literacy of the population, it is necessary to introduce new approaches that will provide funding for applied research and digital entrepreneurship.
