Digitalization of industry as a driver of national economic development

In the context of the globalization of the world economy, differences between countries that are undergoing the stages of transition from an industrial formation to an information one, as well as to a digital one, are noticeably increasing. This process entails changes in management activities and in the management paradigm of the innovative economy. As part of the study, the impact of digitalization processes on the dynamics of the introduction of innovative technologies in the industrial sector is assessed, analyzing the mechanisms and factors that highlight digital transformation as a driver of economic development. The study revealed the degree of influence of the digitalization of industry on the pace of economic growth of the national economy, as well as on the labor market and social aspects. The position of Russia among the countries that have most successfully integrated digital technologies into business processes has been determined.
