Digitalization of the Russian financial services market: trends and development prospects

The last decade has significantly changed the entire economic system of the country, converting traditional financial services into digital format. In the new realities, the enterprises of the industry began to introduce into their work the main tool of competition - information and communication technologies (ICT). The article discusses the main trends and prospects for the development of digitalization of the Russian financial system. The state of the financial technology market is assessed in the conditions of economic restrictions imposed on Russia by unfriendly countries in 2022. It is established that the Russian economy is at the stage of adaptive decline. The digital transformation of the financial services market has slowed down, but at the same time it has acquired new vectors of development. In the new reality, the future of the financial system is determined by such directions as: introduction of digital financial assets into circulation, platforming, development of new models of open finance.
