Digitalization of judicial procedure in modern Russia: social and philosophical analysis

Modern society is developing, and development of the information technology is becoming one of the most important aspects of social change. An ever wider range of relationships is moving into the format of remote interaction. This situation affects a number of public institutions, including the judiciary. The author analyses the process of introducing modern information technologies into judicial activities. This process is analyzed in the context of a general analysis of the main problems of the modern judicial system. The potential for its resolution in the context of the introduction of information technologies in the judicial sphere is assessed, as well as social risks associated with the transition of a number of aspects of judicial activity to the format of remote digital interaction are noted. The necessity of an in-depth study of the social significance of the digitalization of the judicial system, as well as the main range of problems associated with this process, is substantiated.
