Digitalization is a fundamental trend of modern society: legal basis, expectations and reality

The article discusses the legal basis of digitalization in Russia, assesses the state of digitalization of the economic sphere at the present stage. The problems in the practice of functioning of the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction are analyzed. It is concluded that there is a need for a significant update of the current legislation of Russia in the field of identification of subjects and recognition of digital objects of legal relations in the formation of the digital environment.
