Бесплатный доступ

This paper investigates the impact of the digitization process on contemporary methods of youth interaction with government authorities. The research includes an analysis of current communication practices of young people with government structures on social media and the utilization of digital government services. It was found that young individuals express interest in using digital services for accessing government services and participating in the political sphere. However, certain limitations and challenges in these practices are evident. In the context of internet service usage, there is a need for improvement in technical aspects. The importance of enhancing public trust in digital services and perceiving them as commonplace practices is emphasized. Regarding interaction with political figures on social media, despite the increasing openness of public accounts in the virtual space, there is limited engagement from young citizens. This issue represents a broader challenge that should be considered within the realms of political and civic culture, as well as the level of civic responsibility. The conclusions of the study highlight the potential of these opportunities while identifying barriers that need to be overcome for the effective development of digital forms of interaction. Advancing in this direction requires a comprehensive approach to successfully address current challenges and ensure efficient engagement of youth with government entities in the digital era.
