The digital world as the Fourth Rider of the Apocalypse: Is modern technology so dangerous?

The article analyzes the impact of modern technologies on human rights violations, in particular, for the dissemination of personal data. The author provides relevant examples of personal data violation both at the national and international levels. Thus, it is concluded that the legislation of modern states sufficiently regulates the protection of personal data, but the problem of the dissemination of personal data is ahead of the development of modern legislation, which violates human rights.
