A digital volunteer in the field of education

We consider new participant in the education process - the digital volunteer. A definition of the concept of "digital volunteer" is proposed. Various approaches to the interpretation of its place and role in the educational process, presented in domestic and foreign scientific literature, are analyzed. Approaches to the training of digital volunteers and their activities under high-alert conditions during the coronavirus pandemic are characterized.
