Digital Financial Assets as a Tool for Economic Integration of BRICS Countries

In the digital era, blockchain technology is significantly impacting the development of various economic sectors, and digital assets in the financial sector are among the most significant innovations. The main objective of the study is to evaluate the possibilities of digital assets in the financial sphere as a catalyst for economic integration of BRICS countries. The study used a conceptual and mixed approach, qualitative and quantitative methods. The authors conducted an analysis of regulation and development of digital technologies in the financial sphere of BRICS countries, as well as identified the main problems and prospects of their use. The results show that a balanced solution to the legal, technical and political aspects of backed digital assets development in the financial sphere of BRICS countries will ensure strengthening their integration, stability and integrity of financial systems.
