Digital ecosystems as a driver of partnership relations: The experience of Russian companies

The article discusses the role of digital ecosystems in the development of partnership relations, using the leading Russian companies – Sber, Yandex, and VTB – as examples from the period of 2020–2024. It provides an overview of the theoretical foundations of the concept of “digital ecosystem” and its interpretation in the Russian context, analyzing various models of ecosystem formation. Th e theoretical part substantiates that a digital ecosystem represents a combination of fi nancial and non-fi nancial services off ered by a company, capable of meeting a wide range of customer needs. The main part of the article is dedicated to the analysis of case studies (Sber, Yandex, VTB). The conclusion emphasizes that the experience of Russian companies demonstrates the eff ectiveness of digital ecosystems as a tool for developing partnership relations when the integration and cooperation are balanced.
