Digital news as an ecosystem within an ecological approach

This article examines the transition from traditional to dynamic digital news production. News dissemination today is not a continuous process, which challenges the traditional concept of static equilibrium described by media ecology researchers. This article presents the evolution of the ecosystem view of media and defines the rhizomatic model of media expansion.
