Digital technical means of fixation of the information in the activity of law enforcement bodies

The article examines digital technical and forensic tools used in the activities of law enforcement agencies in order to record information that has a forensic value for the investigation of a criminal case. Photographic equipment, video equipment, audio equipment, scanners used to capture the course of the investigative action, the surrounding environment, discovered traces and objects are examined in detail. The author substantiates the advantages of using these technical means in practice, reveals their purpose and principle of operation.
